Twisted Teddy is a Japanese Paper Clay Slay texture scented creamy vanilla, sugar cane, hazelnut, marshmallow, pralines, and maple shortbread cookies. I think it is my favorite slime this restock!! This might be my favorite paper clay (japanese OR korean) that I’ve made over the years, which is why I decided to leave out the fimos and let the texture shine because boy does it! There are a variety of duo colored stitched bear charm possibilities that are shown on the last slide.
This texture is DELIGHTFUL. It is creamy, yet chewy and gets chubby. Starts off with resistance from the paper clay, and somehow maintains some of that resistance when warmed up while also being super stretchy?? Also makes loud bubble pops. I keep pulling this one back out to play with when I have a few minutes here and there.
Anne says, “Ahhh dreamy texture, it's thick, creamy, medium dense, inflating, smooth, a lil resistant at first but does stretch nicely and turns plush with air. Nontacky with minimal residue and no staining.”
I also really love the scent on this. It’s gourmand but not cloying, and I pick up the creamy vanilla with marshmallow and a nutty, slight pastry element to it. I think the notes in this blend work really well together and are balanced nicely. Anne says, “Warm, vanilla-y, sweet (but again not too sweet! Don't be scared), and a hint of pleasant nuttiness to give the blend complexity. Would not describe it as a “nutty” scent though, the nut note is in the background not the front. Light to medium strength. I think any vanilla sugar fans would love this!”
Overall, Anne says, “Lovelyyyyy texture, buttery, beautiful, dreamy, holdable, chefs kiss!” I also highly recommend this one! I also wanted to add this last and not at the beginning, as to not act as a FOMO tactic, but this is unfortunately the last of this kind of japanese paper clay. I do believe this specific clay was discontinued a while back and I finally used the last I had of it. The good news is I made a gigantic batch (I didn't want to only have enough left over to only be able to make a smaller batch next time) so I think/hope it will not sell out and anybody who wants to try it hopefully can!
